We walked to Ruby Lake and swam under the rain
And you caught a dragon fly in your hand
You have the funniest of anecdotes
But you never seem to know the way back home
We drove back to town in the twilight glow
And we washed the sand out from between our toes
We watched a Herzog film and turned off the lights
I never gave a thought to being bold
Don't worry, we'll work it out
We'll work it out I swear
But not this time

I rose in the morning
Pulled on my summer boots
Kissed my mother goodbye
Flew the coup
Cast my line in the river
Never felt a tug
It's too late he is on me
Gotta run
And then wind's in my hair
And the scent's all around
We will spring into action
